Mir Projects & Consultants - the project management and consultancy arm of Mir Group - has been awarded the consultancy for the Master Plan preparation and development of Gwalior Counter Magnet area, through a global bid. This prestigious consultancy has been awarded to the company by the Special Area Development Authority (SADA) constituted by the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, for the development of Gwalior. Mir Projects & Consultants has done consultancy for almost all seaports in India and is the consultant for India’s dream railway project for the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation India (DFCCIL). Mir Group’s real estate and construction wing, Mir Realtors, is also developing three eco-friendly township projects in Cochin, Trivandrum and Kannur in the state of Kerala. The Gwalior city management project will not only prove the company’s mettle in urban infrastructure connected to the capital city of Delhi but it will also help expand its operations and brand equity in the northern regions of India.

Mir Group, is planning to expand its business operations in Qatar, in a big way. The business house is one of the 11 companies that has been invited to visit Qatar as part of the ‘High Level Indian Business Delegation’ organized by the Embassy of India, Doha and the Confederation of Indian Industry. Mir Projects & Consultants, the consultancy & project management division of Mir Group, has bagged the prestigious consultancy for developing Tadri - a Greenfield Port - for the Government of Karnataka through the implementation agency, the Karnataka State Industrial Investment and Development Corporation Limited. Tadri port is situated near Honnavar in North Kanara district and the scope of work is to prepare the feasibility report and the plans to develop a Greenfield Port with allied facilities on 2000 acres situated in the estuary of the Aghanashini River. The eventual value of investment expected will be around 3000 crores. This prestigious project has been bagged through a global bid, in association with Mir Projects & Consultants’ Spanish technical partner, Prointec.

Mir Projects and Consultants has been awarded the consultancy for developing the Western Dedicated Railway Corridor from Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT) in Mumbai to Tughlakabad and Dadri near Delhi. The Rs. 30.000 crore project is expected to commence early August 2010 and will cater largely to the container transport requirements between the existing and emerging ports in Maharashtra and Gujarat and the northern hinterland. The project was awarded through a global bid amid stiff competition from leading international consultants.
